"Vanellope was living her dream, life with Shank was amazing and more brutal than anything she had experienced in Sugar Rush, but the long months without Ralph left her longing.
She went to Shank for advice, how to make the little time she had with Ralph that much better for them. The "Backdoor Handshake", Shank said, a network algorithm that would bring Vanellope and Ralph together closer than they ever had been before.
Shank and her crew went to work on opening her ports, exchanging packets, reinforcing her firewalls and virus protection so she could be as open about her feelings for Ralph as possible.
The next time Ralph came to visit, it was one hell of a LAN party."
