Halloween Draw-a-thon, 2026 edition... starts now!

 

The theme for this year is relevant to recent stuff: video game physical media.

• Boxart, poster, promotional media, etc.
• Game types: horror, mystery, monster/cryptid, slasher, gothic, etc. 

 

Here’s a run-down on how it works:

• I gather suggestions from everyone.
• Set up multiple polls (starting from the last week of September).
• I draw as many of the winners of said polls (often getting to runners-up).

 

Here are the tips on getting your ideas/perverted ramblings onto the polls:

• Must be related to the theme (video games).
• No waifu harem: don’t just throw in a group of your favorites, the best way to not get picked or placed very low on the list.
• Provide references: link to references of the character you suggest, especially for the obscure characters and subjects. (If it takes me too much time just to hunt down references, I might just put it very low on the list.)

I'm running out of ideas for themes for the annual Halloween Draw-a-thon.

Please leave any suggestions/ideas for 2025's theme.

Example:
2023 theme was breakfast cereal.
2024 theme was horror posters.

Halloween is fast approaching which means... Halloween Draw-a-thon, 2023 edition!

I want to change things up for this year: I will attempt to draw suggestions as Halloween themed cereal boxes.

Having a theme this time around made it simpler yet more complicated and harder (limiting it to a vertical frame does not help >_<). Maybe I'll think of something a lil less restricted for a theme next time.

Anyways, there were overall a lot more on subject suggestions this year so it worked out well.

Halloween is around the corner, which means: the annual Halloween Draw-a-thon, 2021 edition!

Throughout the month of October, I will attempt to draw as many ideas provided by you, the fans. This year, I will start it a lil early to gather as many ideas you all may provide. From these ideas, I will pick the best/most appropriate/favorite ideas and mash them into multiple polls.

I essentially will attemp to draw as much of the suggestions provide by you within the month of October. Similar to last year, I will put up the suggestions I like the most in polls (both public and Patreon) so that people can pick what I should draw.

Here are the tips on getting your suggestions on the polls:

• Make them Halloween themed.
• Don’t just suggest your waifu harem, that’s the best way to not get picked (it eats up too much time to draw all that waifu).
• Don’t just suggest your fetish, like make it fit within the theme at least, or else it’s just as bad as suggesting your dream waifu harem.
• Link to references of the character(s), especially for obscure characters and subjects.
• Post suggestions as anonymous: if I know you, you’ll have less chance of getting picked (I hate nepotism so will automatically be bias against those I know).
• Keep in mind, I'll be interpretting the suggestions myself so it maybe differrent from what you have in your head.

The haunting season is nigh upon us which means… it’s Halloween Draw-a-thon, 2019 edition!

Here’s a rundown on how it works (for those new): everyone provides suggestions/requests, I cherry pick the one’s that tickle my imagination, then I proceed to draw as much of them as I can within the month of October.

FYI these are some tips on getting to actually get picked:

• Make them Halloween themed somehow.
• Don’t just suggest your waifu harem, that’s the best way to not get picked (it eats up too much time to draw all that waifu).
• Don’t just suggest your fetish, like make it fit within the theme at least, or else it’s just as bad as suggesting your dream waifu harem.

There were a couple of really great ideas that I would have loved to do but was too elaborate and therefore take too long to draw (i.e. it was either 1 elaborate pic per week or 2 more simple pics).

As always, I seems every year there would be crazy cool idea(s) that's TV show/movie based that I would have loved to do if I had a lot more time.

 The ghouls and ghost are about to haunt us again... yes, it's time for Halloween Draw-a-thon 2018!

If you haven't participated before, here is how it works: I take suggestions and requests from everyone, pic the ones that grabs my imagination, then draw as many pictures as I can within the month of October, ending with Halloween.

Please keep suggestions Halloween themed. Tossing out your dream harem is an easy way to get placed at the bottom of the list (i.e. I probably won't get to it before Halloween). Linking to references of characters (especially the more obscure ones) will be very helpful.

The various suggestion of witches were great but I never got to them because I was over thinking on how to mash them all together >_<

It’s that time of the year again! Gonna open up the gates to Halloween theme pic suggestions. For this year, I’m going to attempt to draw as many as I can as apposed to the more polished pics I did last year.

Brainstorming: Halloween Draw-a-thon 2015

Much success last year was, so let's make this year's just as fun if not better. I will draw at least one pic per week, hopefully more.

For your part, provide any cool ideas for Halloween related scene. (Linking references will help out a lot when it comes to the more obscure stuff.) Throwing in random characters without relating it to Halloween in some way will guarantee low priority. A scene with a harem full of characters will also be low priority.

I'll select and choose from ideas I like (or most requested) and draw as many as I can.

Tossing down ideas and sharing them with others is probably the most fun part of the creative process so let loose and have fun, everyone!

Brainstorming: Halloween 2014

Last year's Halloween Brainstorming had some great results so I am going to open things up for this year: this time around, I will draw/sketch at least one picture per week, hopefully much more.

Your part: throw down any cool ideas for a scene that is Halloween related (provide links to references for the more obscure stuff please). I'll pick and choose from the ones I like (or is asked for the most) and draw as many as I can.

Keep the suggestions on subject/theme. Don't throw in random characters just because you like them or tossing down a scene with a harem full of characters will definitely be lowered on the list. Some funny twists, simple but on theme, or inspired crossover would be higher on the list.

Brainstorming is probably the most rewarding part of the creative process so have fun everyone!

Toss down any ideas you may have for Halloween.

I will attempt something different this time around for Halloween: I will attempt to draw/sketch roughly one picture per week for October.

As per usual, please keep it within the theme, don't throw in random characters just because you like them. Doing a crossover for crossover sakes will not get you more brownie points. You know, just create a scene or cosplay that has an appropriate story behind it.
