My first day back on duty was certainly unconventional! The captain just got done chewing me out for my unprofessional behavior during my second trip down to Vagra II. But it at least got the job done of distracting Armus enough to weaken his energy field. Who knows how much longer Counselor Troi and Lt. Prieto would've been stranded down there otherwise? With any luck, Picard will take this into account when he decides whether to relieve me of my station.
He's fortunately chosen to let me keep my Amazonian form. The fact that (according to Dr. Crusher) I otherwise wouldn't have survived Armus's psychokinetic blast probably swayed his decision there. Speaking of the doctor, I'm dumbfounded that she recommended lifting my quarantine after not even a week, given all of the caution she showed when she placed me under. Has she figured out what Wesley and I have been up to?..."
